The Umbral gods declare open war against the Pantheon. Fighters on each side clash at Acheron while the others plan for the future.

Well the next year should prove one for the books! The Umbral gods have seen fit to declare war against us - imagine that! Ha! We'll make quick work of them I'm sure, but this is rather an inconvenience. And of course they haven't declared their motivation for this violence, although I suspect it has something to do with Tymora and Lliira's recent trip. I knew I should have spoken up sooner, but no matter. What's done is done.

We've had news that they await us in force on Acheron, so we've sent our own to meet them on that accursed field. Scouts reported that nearly the entire Umbral pantheon is waiting there, but I fear for them that they are still far outclassed by our own. Auril, Bane, Beshaba, Bhaal, Loviatar, Malar, Myrkul, Talona, and Talos - nine in number against our own force of seven: Ilmater, Lyir, Milil, Selune, Torm, Tyr, and Umberlee. Pure or impure I pity any creature that finds itself beneath Tyr's Judgement. Of course we've also sent word to our less fervent brethren, but I don't expect much aid from them, especially Kelemov. He must be thrilled. We've never had any warring on this scale before. I don't think I can even fathom how amused Tempus must be about all this. Bastard.

Our strategy now is to - Tymora has called a council. Seems this will have to wait.
