Construction beginning/end
In an effort to give the children of the gods a safer life, the gods construct a barrier to prevent celestial creatures from entering the Material Plane.
I, Coventina of the Lake, swear by my hand, head, and heart, to carry out the wishes of Deneir, to watch, record, and protect the events of the Material Plane for as long as I am able.
I am privileged to have been chosen for this task. I fear it will be lonely, but watching over the children of light could not be a higher honor. I make my way now to find a suitable abode on the Material Plane. I think I will seek out a spot near one of our portals. Gond, Oghma, Eldath, and Ilmater have toiled for a long time to ensure that no celestials can pass through the barrier. As such, I know I will not be able to pass through it again, but knowing it is near will give me comfort. Deneir believes we may be able to still hold small feats of communing. I hope he is right, as he often is.
