The Military house of the Caliphate of Astrasan 

Leader: Ismaiil Astra-Samani, male dwarf, A man whose reign has been plagued with controversy. Even though he legally inherited the title of Caliph after the death of his brother, many people believe he may have killed his brother himself to continue to go on holy crusades to spread the faith of the stars to other countries. Whether or not it’s true, Ismail is, in fact, a zealot who wants to conquer all peoples to enforce the peace of his religion on all and prevent the gods from digging their claws into their creations once more.
Champion: Umar Astra-Makki, male human, a young man who has already seen more battles than most, he was drawn from the chafe of the Caliphate's legions and raised up to be the champion of the Samani house due to his undying loyalty to Ismaiil and the Caliphate, he yearns to pit his strength against the chieftains of Cafka in a bid for yet more territory on the large continent
Economy: Nizam Ibn-Muulk, male halfling, original taken as a slave from the Jihad's against Natinal, Nizam has embraced his new nation and strives to work to improve its military systems to be more efficient and allow for less mistakes and less violence against civilians by ensuring officers are well trained and remain close at hand to the common soldierly 
Magic: Ali Astra-Talib, male Aasimar, known for his piety and devotion to the stars, Ali had his faith somewhat shaken with the new Sultana's rise as he thinks the position unfit for a woman. However he deeply respects her power and connection to the stars and unlike many others, is able to set aside his prejudice to attempt to learn from the Sultana and does his best to show others they should do the same, though they claim he has just been swayed by her beauty, a claim he staunchly rejects.
Military: Khalid Astra-Samani, male dwarf, son of Ismaiil, Khalid learned from an early age the many tactics needed to succeed in desert warfare and he has honed them to a fine edge that he uses to conquer the lands surrounding the Caliphate. Whenever a revolt springs up it is Khalid who is called in to settle it by battling the warlords and invading armies into defeat. He is devout and eager to expand the religion and the rule of the Caliphate further and further into new lands, though he is loathe to leave the desert behind.
Diplomatic: Nuala Ibn-Zangi, female human, a charismatic woman who is never seen without her honor guard, she is the first point of contact for many Europans and she deals in swords and blood, serving as an intimidating figure for the Caliphate whose words are able to keep opportunistic Europans at bay as she threatens them in vivid detail about what would happen if they were caught raiding or invading.
Religious: Tariq Astra-Ziyad, male elf, once a prominent military commander in his own right, he fell out of favor when his forces were routed from Natinal centuries ago, since then he has sealed himself off in a tomb where food and water are lowered down to him, his only light comes from the stars above and here he prays, plots and plans to retake Natinal and expand further into Europa, having become obsessed with this idea to the exclusion of all else.
