The Diplomatic house of the Caliphate of Astrasan 

Leader: Aster Astra-Hassan ll, male human, leads his Caliphate with peace, honor, and diplomacy. Those who would rise against him often become his ally or turn their ambitions away from him and target someone else. He is a reasonable man who does what he can to make sure all runs peacefully
Champion: Malala Astra-Yousafzai, female human, a young woman with the courage of 10 men, Malala is incapable of feeling fear and combined with her magical powers this makes her a formidable opponent on or off the battlefield. She has preached against Martius in the heart of Saxony before and often has to be reigned in by her other house members to avoid causing a diplomatic incident. In battle she is always gracious in victory or defeat and many a victorious champion has been confused as they were approached by Malala afterwards as she sought to improve and see where she messed up.
Economy: Khadija Astra-Khuwaylid, female tiefling, an older woman whose beauty and charisma has only refined with age, she is soft-spoken yet when she speaks everyone listens. She is part of a ancient dynasty of merchants who traveled the sands of the Caliphate since before the Devastation, she rarely speaks of her experience during those times and instead remains focused on the acquisition for more and more wealth, she joined with Aster in an attempt to legitimize her business in less accepting parts of the world and enjoys pushing her product into new markets where she can analyze and overcome the competition and challenges she faces there.
Magic: Fatima Ibn-Fihri, female gnome, the founder of the oldest remaining college in the known world, Fatima has made it her mission to educate and teach all that she can so that the hardships of the Devastation are never repeated, to that end she eschews all religion and instead teaches that religion is a path that only leads to hatred and war. Instead she seeks to educate others of the world and people's around them in the hopes that this understanding of one another will lead to true peace.
Military: Tawakkol Ibn-Karman, male human, possessed of an inability to witness suffering, Tawakkol has made it his life's mission to travel around the world with his highly trained team of mercenaries to put a stop to violence and fighting wherever the innocent are in danger. They are hired by the Caliphs to retrieve people of importance and as a show of mercy to even the common folk as they go into the most contested war zones without fear. Tawakkol leads them in swiftly, gets their target then fights their way back out just as swift, he has made such a name for himself that he has become something of a celebrity with the best Europan generals doing all they can to slow or stall him once his banner is seen on the horizon
Diplomatic: Zayed Astra-Hassan, male human, brother to Aster, Zayed is possessed of a silver tongue that can force a compromise between the most hated of foes, he is often called upon by the Sultana herself to mediate disputes between her and the Caliphs that hate her, he detests infighting and staunchly berates anyone who participates in it for daring to shed their brother's blood upon the sands.
Religious: Shira Astra-Karman, female human, sister to Tawakkol, while she cannot follow in her brother's footsteps, she often follows in his wake, traveling with him to offer non-military aid and teachings to the afflicted, offering them a chance to travel with her back to the Caliphate where they can embrace a new life free from their past oppression.
