Sigurun

Saint Sigurun or Sigurn the Saber, was the semi-legendary founding heroine of the Allels, who waged the Allel Jihad against the Ogre Empire, c. 500 AB. A slave from birth, Sigurun was raised in a Beorn-worshiping family and led a slave revolt at age 16. She waged the Allel Jihad, destroying the Ogre race and forming the Allelic Confederacy. She was taken prisoner by the Ogre lord Hakon and returned some months later pregnant, giving birth to her only son, the demi-Ogre Saint Siegfried. For her singular emphasis on the worship of Beorn, she is considered a saint in Emuna. Her cult is most prominent in Alleland, and to a certain extent in Sylvania.
