Saint Siegfried

Saint Siegfried or Siegfried the War-Hammer was a semi-legendary half-Ogre hero of the Allel Jihad, the son of Sigurun. Conceived out of the rape of his mother by the Ogre lord Hakon, Siegfried was raised by his mother and her brother Sigurd the Flayer. Siegfried became the most viscous of the Allel Jihadists, and his name became feared by all Ogres. He put the entire city of Vulcanir to the sword, slaughtering some 12,000 Ogres. His epithet "War-Hammer" comes from his tendency to utterly annihilate all Ogre infrastructure on campaign, even ordering graveyards plowed over. Despite his status as a half-Ogre he was accepted completely by the Allels on account of his mother's unwavering support for him. The Epic of Siegfried, allegedly composed by Siegfried himself, details that he, like his mother, was singularly devoted to Beorn. He is accordingly considered a saint in Emuna and venerated throughout Alleland. He never married or produced children, and according to the Epic, Siegfried renounced all worldly pleasure to pursue the annihilation of the Ogres.
