Efkaris

Efkaris (also spelled Efcharis, Ephcharis; died 150 IB) was an Amellion adventurer during the Decline of the Saura who underwent apotheosis by consuming the god Eadhab, becoming god-emperor of the Amellions and founding Elvish Empire, bringing about the Age of Amellion. He abandoned his throne c. 11,000 AB and wandered the Eastern Plain until hearing of the exploits of Acacius. He traveled to Berytus in 30 IB, and was entered into the Covenant of Drowning by Acacius personally. Efkaris died in 150 in Abrisom, on exactly the 120th anniversary of his drowning.   Because of his conversion to Emuna and subsequent zealous obedience to its teachings, he has been considered a saint since his death, and was liturgically celebrated from time immemorial, especially among Amellions.   At the dawn of the Age of Men (c. 10,000 AB) he destroyed the Acropolis of Eadhab on Mount Eadhab to seal the Corpse of Tita away forever and prevent men from accessing it.
