Acacius

Acacius (34 Barsabion 23 AB – 2 Thargelion 44 IB), better known as the Prophet Acacius, was a first Century human religious and political leader in Berytus, considered a prophet by the Acacian religions, and the founder of the Berytusian Empire and Unbroken Church.   According to the Synopticons, Acacius was born the son of poor peasant farmers, and received a revelation from the Heliand in the Field of the Sword near Korlou. He was told to go to Berytus, where he began to preach the Heliand's power, and was arrested by King Narocanizar II. He prophesied Narocanizar's death at the hands of his mistress, and the king was going to have him put to death, when his mistress, Malandra Priya, slew him to save Acacius. She then broke him out of prison and traveled with him to Abrisom. In the mountains, Acacius preached to the Amellions, and converted Dom Justo of clan Versaves who then financed his preaching in Abrisom. When he was accosted by bandits on the road to Mides, he performed two miracles and converted them. Their leader was Euthides the Romm, who became Acacius' first Presbyter. He returned to Berytus with Euthides and his nine bandits, who together defeated the entire 20,000 strong city guard. Acacius challenged Lailah, the patron goddess of Berytus, and bound her with only twine. Having defeated the army and the goddess, he become undisputed ruler of Berytus and the city converted en masse.   He adopted Iban Acacias, the son of
