Personal history
Yashiro was born into the ancinet line of emperors that has been around since as long as most people can remember. He has spent most of his life mastering the arts of political intrigue and magical practice. He did this so much that it is only recently that he has married, a yokai of course to keep up the ancient tradition. He has of recently sought to study the strange and horiffic phenomena of the corruption of the Weeping Lands, and though he mostly stays out of the politics of the samurai clans, he has sought to support the Teukai Clan and Horii Clan to keep the forces of evil at bay. He has also become increasingly worried about the state of Catai and its ever present threat to the fair lands of Kantō, and as well the corruption that the strange mist brings. This combined with the sudden assassination of the Shogun, Iwasaki Kunimichi, the emperor is rumored to now be in deep meditation and study to contemplate stepping into the chaos personally and restoring order, by force if necessary.

Thanks to his position, Yashiro is one of the most well read and educated people in Orliea, and perhaps the world.

Yashiro was recently married to his wife, Konoe Kome, a Yuki-Onna hailing from the frozen lands controlled by the Naimada Clan. They are expecting a child at this time.
Mannerisms
Yashiro carries himself calm and humbly, not as boisterous or loud as some of the emperors past. He is a quiet individual and rarely raises his voice or gets angry, and so many see him as a bastion of calm and knowledge amidst the storm of Kantō politics.
