Personal history

Death comes for all, and it does not discriminate. However, Vandarr needs servants to help him keep up with the horrifying level of death that happens on a daily basis. However one woman would prove special to Vandarr. One day a woman of an unkown name had everything taken from her. Her family was killed and turned into undead before her, when the necromancer decided to send her soul directly to Vandarr as sort of a taunt for the uncaring god. Though Vandarr does not much care for worrying about the daily happenings of life, he was absolutely enraged when her soul showed up at his palace. His fury caused horrifying tsunamis and storms in the realm of death, before he would discuss with Khulo for vengeance for this woman and his honor. Khulo, being the god of revenge, agreed, and he bestowed his blessing unto Vandarr to send her back to the world of the living. Her soul was infused with the power of death itself as her body turned pale white, and her eyes would open once again.   She would go on a Shadow Quest, hunting down those who wronged her. It turns out the Necromancer, was the leader of the Cult of Vandarr, hiding in plain sight amongst the believers of the god of proper death. She would eventually throw open the doors to the main church of the cult, as everyone stood in silent awe and horror at her countenance. Every step she took had the weight of a god, as this living saint would reveal to the cult the false prophet in their midst, and would cast him into oblivion. This was the most severe punishment Vandarr could ever give, for it did not give the chance of an afterlife or revival, just total, black, oblivion.   After this event, the cult would hail her as a saint for saving them against the false prophet. Vengeance had been served, but instead of taking his power back he would allow the woman to stay within the Mortal Realm as his direct consort and manifestation. Her old name no loner mattered, she was now simply Vail Willow, the Saint of Death Itself
