The Undreamed Age Unknown to -3000EC

There are many difficulties chronicling the ages past of our world, but for one such as I, Scholar Garnier White, will no doubt try to attempt. The Undreamed Age represent not only the world itself being made, but also an age that we have little to no knowledge over. While our world of Tertara formed, it is said that it was a world bereft of arcane magic as we know it, a perfectly mundane world as it was. This meant that life would evolve slowly, perhaps for millions of years in fact.   Regardless, other then that the only real reference we have from this point is one that to this day still eludes our uncountable attempts at trying to learn of this great nation: the Ishtar Empire. None can truly say what this Ishtar Empire exactly was, or even who were the people who ruled over it. What is known is that the people of this empire were highly advanced, likely far more advanced than us. They seemed to have control over the entire world at the time, however for whatever reason their empire suddenly just died. ALl of their territory was gone, and from where their empire began in eastern Nilush, it would be swallowed by forests. It is also believed that as some sort of last act, the unknown race erected the vast mountain range that cuts off the Ruins of Ishtar from the rest of the world, as there is no possible way that many mountains are indeed natural it has been said. AS to what caused their fall, none can say. Some hints remain in the history of the people of Aravec of all people, implying some scholars to believe perhaps it was some strange and terrible disease of sorts? A few eldritch cults hold that the "Great Old Ones" came out of hiding to rule over the world as their rightful domain, though cultists insanely yapping away as they bite their fingernails can hardly be considered a reliable source.   Other hints remain at what this empire possibly was. Some artists thing the race was a strange, faceless race that had 4 arms however the proof he did use as a reference was apparently a mad vision he suffered when he somehow, teleported accidentally with an entire party to the Ruins of Ishatr and had to make a great journey back home, with most of his party perishing along the way it must be added. One other curious thing of note was that some stories tell, with the most well known being the Ogre Tribes of all things, that these Ishtarians were able to seemingly play gods, and create new life at will. This has led some to believe that perhaps they laid the seeds for all of the races that now inhabit the world to one day evolve, with the long lost scrolls of Praelia telling of an "ancient time when many of the mortal races were enslaved by the great Ishtar Empire before its cataclysmic fall".   Whatever the case, This empire fell sometime near the end, and then the world was quiet for a time, until the World Spear would strike the world, demons would roam freely across the globe, and the great Primordial Age began...
