The Great Belt is the large asteroid belt that surrounds the solar system, and is placed there by the gods to defend against any large galactical objects that may harm Tertara. It is a handy way of measuring the boundaries of the solar system, and anything past that cannot be observed as the worlds telescopes and observatories aren't strong enough, yet....
