The Age of Heroes 2000EC to 4200EC

The Age of Heroes is largely defined by an age of courage, valor and heroism. While not much in the way of genuine big events aside form say the Orc tribes splitting in half, the Great Elven Wars, and the formation of the Deadlands later in the age, no world defining events occurred for the most part. Instead this age was defined by an above average amount of adventuring parties.    The names of many of these adventures would be remembered, but those who truly stood out where those heroes who fought for the sake of others. These heroes would go on to preform great deeds in their age, and inspire generations of people to keep persisting throughout the ages. Such names as Arnould Regnault and Novanna Greer, the unlikely due who would become heroes of Vebastonne. Gelts Mighty Five, who would go one to slay a lich planning to overrun Neundorf. The Fellowship of the Whale, who were a halfing party that helped explore much areas of the oceans not yet traveled yet. Sargrog Forgemight, who was said to have slew an entire Drow raid by himself, and be one of the only Dwarves to lead a charge into the Underdark and make it back alive and victorious. Aldred of Lander who helped slay a tribe of zombified Giants hellbent on destroying eastern Ashenfeld. Ina the Merciful, who was said to have questing by herself to find a cure to a great plague that ravaged Nilush.   Of course, the absolute greatest hero of this age, was Aranel, The Pureborn Hero. His deeds were many, and his campaigns were incredible. His outstanding moral character and his ability to carry the hopes and dreams of an entire world on his shoulders with such humility and grace that it put entire species to shame. If only such an age were to last, for the age that befalls this world is one of abject misery.
