Scorchbringer

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Using a combination of magic and alchemical materials, Scorchbringers are a rare but terrifying new weapon which consist of a tube, a pack connecting a fuel source and magical energy to the tube, a trigger mechanism, and an ignition system. Once activated, this weapon spews white hot flames, letting non magical users spew fourth flames. Due to the high upkeep, high cost, and general reliability issues, its only seen in the hands of extremely specialist troops in a kingdoms army, and even then only a few kingdoms employ such a weapon, and it is very rare for independent individuals to be able to employ such a weapon

Significance

Dwarves are able to employ units of these Scorchbringers, with their own version called the "Drake Gun", which is favored for clearing out caves and other such tight areas. Dwarves even use a special alchemical mix that lets the fire stick to its targets, making a horrifying new weapons of war
Outside of the dwarves, only a few kingdoms have such weapons, such as the Ardità States. However the reliability issues and the prospect of a wielder exploding if his tank is ruptured meaning the only ones who wield such weapons are usually more crazy then others
