Personal history
It is said that Sameera al-Gad was born within the outskirts of Miraca, where she would spend her early life studying the sciences amongst the city and the nomad folk. From there she would eventually catch the eye of the Great Sultan Ahmed al-Dada, who would discreetly raise her family up to noble status in order to marry her. Shortly after the marriage, the Great Sultan would die of "mysterious circumstances" and so Sameera stepped in to take reign of the nation. Her rule was secured by a series of assassinations and ruthless shows of force to bring the nation mostly under heel, securing the land as never before.
With the Crusade of Light, Sameera sent a force to show the world that Tajir was not completely defanged. Though the crusade failed, it showed that the strength of Tajir was now great under the rule of the new Great Sultana, and she to this day guides the people to be strong and tough enough to survive their home as demonic incursions become more commonplace, and worries that another invasion from foreign powers may come soon.

The reign of Sameera has been known as one of the greatest in Tajir's history. Though she had to endure sending forces in the Crusade of Light, she has since then brought economic prosperity to Tajir through extensive trade deals, leading Tajir to become even more of an economic powerhouse than it already was.
