Preyton
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Preyton is a terrible mix of creature like a chimera, except that it is the mix of a Great Stag and a dragonic like body and wings, only the wings are attatched to the front legs of the creature, while its rear 2 hind legs are used to support its large frame.
Biological Traits
The Preyton is a dangerous creature, able to se its dragon like form to gore and slash at its victims, or use its horns to impale prey. The worst thing about the Preyton is its complete hatred for other life, simply leaving heartless corpses discarded and strewn about, or trampled under their limbs, Some even suspect that they have some sick fascination with blood even from their own wounds, as some have shown an almost willful disregard for their own life.
Genetics and Reproduction
People do not believe the creature is natural, and that instead a terrible spell was cast upon a stag near the Great Dale Woods by demonic cultists, mutating and shifting the Preyton. It is said that 1 Preyton is able to dream of dark dreams and literally birth a new Preyton, who typically will run from its "parent" due to how solitary the creatures are.

Believed to be able to grow alarmingly fast, at around 4 months.
Ecology and Habitats
Preytons prefer to hide amongst deep forests, where they can easily hunt their prey.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Preytons not only hunt to survive, they seem to derive some sick glee from it. They love to hunt humanoids specifically, especially elves, and humans. It also loves to rip out the heart of its prey and devour it, as its suspected this might have to do with the ritual cast to create the creature.

Average Intelligence
Despite appearances of a bloodthirsty and angry killing beast, it is alarmingly intelligent, almost near sapience in some regards. They are able to lure prey in by pretending to be a majestic stag, before they reveal their sickening form and eyes and devour their would be hunter. They are also said to possess an almost unending hatred for other forms of life, and in a lot of regards hunts out of disdain rather than survival.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The Preyton possesses the ability to see in the dark fairly well, and in fact prefers to hunt at night.
