Apparel & Accessories

Nika wears the Armor of Rannos, a dreadfully powerful dark black armor that is said to be incredible resistant to any forms of damage. The armor is also said to have been worn by the first champion of hell some thousands of years ago, and was guarded by an ultra powerful hell dragon known as Malrir. She also wears the skull of her first beast she killed when she was but a young woman. She also wears a cloak weaved with the veil of cursed fabric from banshees.

Specialized Equipment

The Skull of the Great Ulfdragner, some form of terrible beast, is said to imbue her with a rage and fury unheard of. She can use this ability to cleave through hundreds if not thousands of warriors at a time.
Ravager is the great axe she collected from the great barbarian chieftain known as Tekhyr the Slaughterer, said to have ravaged the coasts of the world for over a century. He was said to be unbeatable in combat, until Nika tackled him to the ground mid duel and beat him to death with her bare hands. The axe blazes with hellish energies and is said to be able to cleft through armor and flesh alike with horrifying ease.
Nika also bears a unique mark of hell, that incorporates the entire pantheon of the Hells and the Arch-Demons. This is upon her chest that shows that she is the true chosen one of the dark gods.
The Crown of Ultimate Tyranny is a hellish looking crown incorporated into the helm of her armor, that shows the authority she possess over all forces of hell. It was found in a great and terrible shrine in the Northern World Spear, and is said to allow her to instill her iron will into her followers.
Finally, she possess a great steed, named Drakgoul. It is a towering creature made of metal, demonic flesh, and fire, and is heavily armored and sports horrible fangs. She acquired it near the World Spears themselves, and had to wrestle the creature to prove herself worthy of riding the horrible creature into battle.

Personal history

The dread story of Nika is one of darkest and vilest of tales. A tale filled with spite, hate, and suffering. It is said that she should not have been born at all, but long ago a great prophecy from an insane madman foretold of a woman that would bring about the apocalypse. This madman would be hanged from the gallows as a heretic and a witch, and so the prophecy laid unfulfilled. Until one day, a old hag witch would switch her conscience with that of a beautiful noble maiden of Ashenfeld, and this dreadful hag with her new youthful body did journey and show herself before a mighty warlord of a barbarian tribe known as Vedalk The Beast. This warlord had been trying for a daughter for some time, but to no avail, but his tribes shaman did tell of a maiden offering herself to him. So on a night when the Black Moon was close to the world, and the planets of the world aligned, Vedalk and the hag Lorene did lay together amongst a battlefield against the warriors of Ashenfeld, amongst the blood and broken bodies of a hundred dead warriors and those warriors closest to Vedalk, and conceive the child who would eventually become Nika.
Lorene had no interest in staying with Vedalk, but did so all the same for a time. The child grew in Lorene faster then any normal pregnancy, and soo she was born atop a bloody altar. However, Lorene wanted to kill Vedalk and keep the child for herself, and did try to weave a spell to allow herself to slay the warlord and slip past the camps guards. However the shaman of the tribe did intervene, and Vedalk beat the hag Lorene to death with his bare fists in front of the wailing infant Nika. This would mark Nika's early life as being full of a constant need to prove herself. The many other wives of Vedalk looked down on her as a sort of traitorous child, many expecting her to betray the tribe just like her mother. Her many siblings would bully, taunt, and beat her, as well as many other of the tribes greatest warriors, and her father had by this point started to become increasingly paranoid of betrayal, having to put down a small rebellion within his own ranks just 8 years into Nika's life. However, a group of warriors from Rusilyvania would drive off and kill the tribe, but after the battle found Nika, beaten and bloody, hiding in a basket of food. Taking pity on what they assumed to be a slave child, she would be adopted by a Yenatrovian man named Stefan Fedirovych Didenko, and she would be given the name Olena, which means "Light".
She would live a fairly normal life after this, enjoying this new life she had been given, and become a devout warrior priestess of the Church of the Flame. She would serve faithfully for the flame and slay many barbarian tribes and all manner of heretics. She was an absolutely fearless warrior, however her fate would change one faithful day near a volcano in Neundorf. She had fought a group of demon worshipping warriors for some time, and she was the last one left alive, but gravely wounded. While bleeding out, she would in the process of burning some of the cults documents, read over the pages. She realized it was a prophecy that told of her, becoming the chosen one of hell. It would tell her that the gods were not real, a great cosmic joke of the universe. The Arch-Demons would whisper to her and taunt her to fall, but she still held hope. She would plead with The Flame to show her a sign, anything to show he was listening.
Silence. Deafening, horrible, silence is all that greeted her. All her years of service apparently did not even merit a simple, glance from the entire Light Pantheon. Is this the reward she was given, after years of sacrifice and devotion. In that moment her heart was filled with hate, and in this moment of emotional and spiritual vulnerability she accepted the Arch-Demons into her heart. Her soul was forever changed, her wounds healed, and with her new found knowledge she went off, heading into the Northern World Spear. No one knows what exactly happened during this time, but what is known is she would take up dark quests to get hellish artifacts, and would conquer whole tribes under her name. Now many worry she will launch a grand invasion of the world, and bring hell upon us all.

Contacts & Relations

Nika is followed by her manservant and faithful guard Djukhin Bloodflare, who has followed her nearly since the beginning of her horrific reign. She also has been making contacts with many spread out groups of barbarian tribals that Worship hell and the Arch-Demons. She also has many well trusted generals, and sends them out into the world to due her dark bidding and ready the world for the final apocalypse.
