Personal history

Like many famous knights of Vebastonne, the deeds of Lancenet d'Arden are legendary, and his virtues strong. He would begin as a knight errant from a young age, and would ride out in search of fair maidens to save and great beasts to slay. Eventually he would become a full fledged Chevalier upon his quest of slaying a dangerous and corrupted boar within his birth dukedom of Marroux known simply as the Beast of Camrault. He would incorporate this boar's likeness into his heraldry and serve the realm faithfully and dutifully. While his deeds were no less glorious then any other knight, he truly distinguished himself during the First Errantry War. He would swear to help King Louis in his quest to avenge those killed by the Dread Sultan Jaabir and his men, and right the wrongs he did commiteth upon the fair people of Vebastonne.   With King Louis he rode with the crusading force of knights as they braved the terrible oceans of the world and then braved the sands of Tajir. Great beasts were abound, with the Tlincallis scorpion raiders, massive hawks able to carry off knight and horse with ease, and other dreaded creatures harried the brave Vestoni, but Lancenet would distinquish himself with his trusty battleaxe. However he truly show his potential when during the Charge of Knihz, where the vast army of Jaabir met the lances of the Vestoni. He would be separated from the main charge but fought his way through the warriors that harried him, and then took on one of the great war elephants and slew it by hacking off its legs with one swing of the axe. After this battle he would participate in the Siege of Vqarjan, where he helped fell many great war beasts and undead monsters the Sultan threw at them, and soon the battle was won as King Louis drove his lance into Jaabir.   While many of the Vestoni would leave, Lancenet was one of the ones to stay, telling the King that he must quest for the grail, for the Lady did command him to right the wrongs of this land. He would sweareth the quest and begin his quest by riding out alone into the sands, something that would be suicidal to most people. However on he went, righting many wrongs by slaying great beasts, necromancers, evil bandit kings, and so on. He would do battle with genies, dance the dance of blades in the City of Thieves, and even save a great nomad tribe in the sands, where he married one of the nomad women named Aaisha el-Othman. However his greatest feat was killing the great beast known only as the Scorpion God, and this act on top of his good deeds and virtues earned him the Grail, turning him into a Lilian Knight. Almost immediately, he would ride out and defeat an army 3,000 strong of strange armored men marching from the Ruins of Shezarkai. Their Kopesh swords would break as he sallied through their ranks, his flaming axe taking out ever enemy that didn't flee. as the army was routed and retreated through a mysterious portal, he would continue his many years traveling the land with the nomad tribe he effectively was adopted into as family. He was eventually slain fighting a great sphinx like demon in the year 1480EC, saving the entire western portion of Tajir from total destruction by this colossal titan. He was buried by his tribe in a valley that many nomad tribes pay respect to him for his courage and his integration into their culture. He would be honored in Vebastonne when news reached the lands, and is hailed as a paragon of the absolute fury and holy wrath each knight should embody.
