Kor typically are more dexterous then humans, and have a natural affinity for climbing. They are also rather brave and things seem to go right for them. Some say this might be the result of their god blessing them throughout life, but none can truly say, as luck isn't exactly a quantifiable thing.

Kor typically live in the great mountains near the Great Dale Woods, the outskirts of the empty range, and even a small settlement in Kanto.

Kor names are typically short and rough sounding, such as Boklar, or Torlak.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Kor have picked up on common, but also have thier own language known as Kor Sign Language. Kor do not like to speak much, and so amongst themselves or when they don't wish to be heard, they use a special form of flowing sign language. They have developed this sign language to help communicate in the blasting winds high up on the mountains where the wind might impair hearing.

Common Dress Code

Kor typically leave their arms and shoulders free for climbing and keep most of their gear in pouches and slings. As such, their clothing is far more practical then elaborate.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Harmony and balance are all to the Kor, and so many seek to achieve a harmonious state with life and their environment.  They prefer order and strong traditions as opposed to chaos and anarchy. Kor love to travel and so many take up oaths of traveling and seek to explore the world to try and maintain harmony and order in new environments.

History

Kor have existed for a long time, though they are a rather reclusive bunch. They live in great monasteries in the mountains, with the largest living in floating mountains among the mountains of the east. The Kor believe they are blessed by the god of the sky and storms: Cozagi. Cozagi would make the Kor to embody the simultaneous harmony and chaos of the sky, and to be his disciples to spread his influence in the world. It is only recently in the year 4190 that the Kor made first contact with a group of knights form Vebastonne. Though communication was slightly hard, a wizard who know linguistic magic helped facilitate conversation. While technically of a faith outside of the pantheon of light, the elemental gods are tolerated and the Church of Light is actively debating if they elemental gods should be fully inducted into the Light Pantheon. Due to this, pilgrims attempt to travel to their monasteries due to the Kor allowing all faiths to pray in their communities, as well as be trained in the ways of martial arts, making them highly skilled monks.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Kor are viewed as orderly and calm, which is why the Church of Light has actually been working in the hopes to induct the elemental gods into their pantheon. Talks go well, and as such the Kor have earned a positive status amongst the other races.
