Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Despite his age, Zathron is horrifyingly strong, having developed a favored pastime of wrestling mighty beasts like dragons. It is said one punch from him is enough to shatter a mountain and open up cave systems.

Zathron sports a beard that is only befitting of a High king, said to be the envy of all other dwarves out there in the realms.
Apparel & Accessories
Only the finest, gold trimmed and runically blessed armor the dwarves could ever make, passed down through generations and improved with each child.
Specialized Equipment
His armor has been enchanted with the most powerful dwarven runes in history, as well as his greatest weapon, a warhammer known as God Splitter. This hammer is said to have killed the strongest demon ever recorded, known as Azarus the Godling. The fight with the demon took two straight days when the he ended it by bringing down the hammer after tiring the demon, splitting its skull open with one mighty strike.

Personal history
Zathron was born from the long line of High Kings, and so was raised from birth to rule. He was raised by the previous High King of the Sons of Thordrindal, and it shows. He has ruled wisely and justly, settling old disputes with many Dwarven hearths and clans, and slays many legions of old enemies of dwarves. He is considered one of the greatest rulers of the dwarven people, and some truly feel that he will be the one to bring about an end to this nightmare collapse of their once great nation. He has been credited with wrestling great monsters by himself, and slaying one of the greatest demons ever recorded in known history. Though he is definitely older, he hasn't been happier as he feels that he has laid the groundwork to retake the dwarf keeps when his heir takes the throne, his daughter Skesvod Mountainborn.
Mental Trauma
He was there when the old empire of Gol Taruhm fell, though he was very young. This weighs heavily upon him and it is said that he occasionally has nightmares of the dreaded Night of Woes. However this also drives him forward with a burning rage and desire to be the savior of his people, and bring about an end to the pathetic Goblin Bandit Kingdoms

Motivation
Zathron seeks to consolidate resources to take back the mighty dwarf holds from the goblins that have stolen them from their rightful owners. However, doing so is easy said then done, and so vast amounts of resources and manpower is needed for this.

Reign
The reign of Zathron Cliffdigger is seen as a boon to the Sons of Thordrindal, where they see him as a great ruler. He has truly made his father Gilmaeth Thunderthane, and Zathron vists his grave once every week. He has ruled wisely and justly, and it is said that he is preparing to launch a new campaign that will bring back the ancient holds under their care and rule.
Contacts & Relations
High King Zathron has sent out emissaries to other nations in the hopes of securing allies. He is on very good terms with King Artur of Vebastonne, however due to Vebastonne being in a war with the Iadith Empire, it is unlikely that they will be able to send out any significant force to help Zathron take back their kingdoms. He has also sent emissaries to the Rusilvaynian Empire with mixed success, as they are as divided a people as Dwarves or Elves.
