Specialized Equipment

Grimelk wields a terrible executioners sword simply known as The Obsidian Harvester. It is said to have been forged during a vision where Grimelk traveled into some of the most nightmarish parts of hell itself, and made the sword from the blood of many in that hellish pit. It is larger then most executioner swords and is able to easily cleft the head off any who get in his path.   His helmet is also able to let out a piecing shriek that shows those who hear it visions of death and horror. Many have simply been driven mad from hearing such a shriek on the battlefield, at least those few who survive running into him

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Grimelk would be born in the demon worshiping tribes of marauders in the empty range, hailing from the Ulfharkr tribe. He would be raised in absolutely brutal conditions until the age of 10, when a freak rockslide separated him from his tribe while out collecting food. He would wander aimlessly till he ended up in the lands of Ashenfeld. A local peasant family took pity upon the bruised, bloody, and dirty looking 10 year old and took him in. The work he had to do to support the family was hard, and many in the small village of Dawnvalley. His parents would die due to plague and soon he was on his own. The only job one as socially hated as he was, was to be an executioner.   Executioners were never liked even on good days, and for Grimelk it was no exception. No one would willingly talk to him, and his work was grim indeed. He would travel to other towns to preform executions but even then the pay wasn't worth the public shaming and no one else really treated him well. However his services were noticed by a rather prestigious lord, one Lord Peter Morgan. He would offer Grimelk a place at his court as the nobles personal headsman. The pay was far better and so he accepted without a moments hesitation. This would lead into the next 10 years of his life being bloody as his Lord Peter had made many enemies, and needed many rebels and criminals executed. Grimelk even began to trust Lord Peter before one day he was ambushed by bandits and taken captive. Confident the lord would pay a ransom for his headsmen, Grimelk waited with prayers that his lord would save him swiftly.   No help came. Grimelk was distraught and only escaped when the bandits were about to kill him just so they can move on. After a terrible and brutal struggle he killed the bandits and walked his way bloody and broken back to the lords keep. The journey was dangerous but he made it, though when he got back he was horrified. He was already replaced by someone else, and he found out that all those people he had executed were not criminals, but simply innocent men and women who had called out Lord Peter's corruption. He was distraught by the news as Lord Peter simply told him "Why should i value that which only takes life, and never gives anything of value back?" Something dark stirred inside Grimelk and the noble court was horrified as he barreled through the guards, and cleft Lord Peter's head from his shoulders. In a mad fit of rage, he butchered the entire noble court, they were all corrupted in his eyes, all deserving nothing but the headsman's blade. In one night the entire court was slain, and he would take some equipment from the guards and travel the lands, dispensing his own form of justice as he hunted down any related to the court of Lord Peter.   However, being steeped in so much death rarely leaves one sound of mind. Even if his ideals were noble at first, they soon became corrupted. His faith had waned and his soul was weak and easily corruptible. That is when the dark gods of hell stepped in, and offered him the power to right the greatest injustice of all. He would follow these visions and be led to the far north in the Northern Pole of the world, where in a grand ruined temple the Arch-Demons of hell revealed everything to him. The Gods of this world were weak, and fake. Their power was simply used to be oppressors' to mortals, whereas the Arch-Demons stood for the raw emotions of mortals unbound and unchecked. This tyranny was great, and required strong souls to see to it that it be corrected. Grimelk accepted, and in that instant was changed into a far darker man then he was before, and was now a loyal servant of hell. He would earn the title of Death Dealer by slaying entire tribes of marauders just by himself, and would wander the world for some time slaying any who got in his way before he met with Nika the End One, and swore to serve her cause as she was chosen by hell itself to bring about the apocalypse. For Grimelk the Death Dealer, victory at any cost is something worth fighting for. So it is he still serves The End One, bringing death to all who oppose hell, no matter who they are, for justice is as heartless as it is blind.

Social

Contacts & Relations

While he is one of the great generals of NIka's forces, he does typically like to work alone, however he does have a sizeable force of hellknights and other marauder tribes following his dark footsteps, honoring him by covering themselves in symbols of death and gloom.
