Symptoms
Uncontrollable mad laughter, which can result in feelings of pain in the mouth and chest regions, has the potential to drive victims insane if left uncured for a long time
Treatment
Magical healing such as lay on hands or greater restoration, or simply sleeping with assistance of potions to help induce sleep
Prognosis
Once contracted, the patient will feel overwhelming amounts of joy, but then after a day begin to laugh madly, even without the presence of anything funny. While not deadly on its on and being easily treatable, if not cured for a long period of time, the subject will go insane
Affected Groups
Most humanoids, but oddly enough gnomes seem to be immune to this sickness
Prevention
Covering ones mouth can be an easy way to avoid infection, or simply quarantining an infected individual

Believed to be the spit and other such spittle when someone breathes and laughs
History
Believed to be a spore like cloud found in a very rare type of plant found in the glade woods
Cultural Reception
Largely considered a harmless disease, while it can be rather unsettling seeing someone laugh madly for a whole day, the ease of treatment means its pretty much not a massive worry for most people
