Căpcăun are a strange mix of a canine and an ogre.  Thus they not only combine their dog like senses in tracking and finding people, but also the unnatural strength of an ogre. They are said to be very resilient and able to take wounds that would maim less hardy races with ease.

Hailing from Ogres, their intelligence is not the greatest, but they aren't as wholly unintelligent as full ogres.

Căpcăun have the ability to see better in the dark, and also have a keen sense of smell and hearing thanks to their canine like abilities.

History

No one is entirely sure how the Căpcăun came to be. The Trilvanians believe that they came about from a fey trick with and ogre, but no one is entirely sure. What is known is these dimwitted creatures are violent, hungry, and love to fight and wear the bones of their prey. They make for excellent warriors, should one have the means to entice them with their payment.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Căpcăun are known for their dimwitted and violent nature, and their habit of eating anything they can. They tend to live on the outskirts of societies because of this, however dimwittedness and brute strength are in high demand among the sellsword and hired muscle department, so they tend to get hired out for those roles. They also make suprising good trackers with their senses.
