Aetherborn come off as intimidating, though most of them do not mean too, and due to their strange circumstances of their birth are resistance to necrotic based damage.
It is said some aetherborn sport a strange gift, in where they can drain the lifeforce of other individuals to extend their lives. Few aetherborn possess this, but those that do realize what it means to need. They are desperate to extend their lives, and are a feared group in their own right.

Aetherborn are born fully matured and as adults. They are seemingly able to pick up on language and basic concepts almost instantaneously

Aetherborn sport glowing eyes, and typically wear masks to look both intimidating and more normal.

Aetherborn have better perception capabilities in dark environments.

Civilization and Culture

History

Aetherborn have no real set history, however they first appeared after the crusade of light, where some magical experimentations would lead to curious fellows being spawned. No one is quite sure what causes this, as the circumstances are always entirely random. What is known is these off-putting fellows would wander the world, seeking to experience as many experiences in life as they could, for it was grimly discovered that they live for such short lives. They live to experience as much as they can, for time is very precious to them.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Aetherborn are almost looked upon sadly, for they live for such little time. However some less then savory groups have found killing and harvesting their bodies can yield high class and expensive alchemical and magical components.

Sadly, Aetherborn lifespans are random, but typically short, being no more then a few years, in some cases only a few months.
