The Pinascimate Republic was supposed to be a nation founded on equality, freedom, and justice. Yet ever since the collapse of the Pinascimate Penal Authority, various Upper Lordanian families that had benefitted from the penal system remained extremely wealthy and incredibly influential.    Already they had begun to buy their way into the political system, leading to Pinascimate President Sam Wilde to fight an intense political battle with the various aristocratic families, such as the Dowerbridges or the Bowers. While the fight would ultimately cost Wilde his position as President, he ultimately won the war, as the influence of the 'new nobility' reached its peak in 22 PC and would decline almost completely by the modern day.
