Terrible Things

In the world of two suns, where fish soar through skies and storms of pure magic have turned most of the planet into an inhabitable waste, there is only one place where humanity reigns: Last City.   Six districts divide the final stronghold of mankind, ruled by auction rather than election, but men are not the only monsters that exist within the city. Creatures that were once just figments of children's imagination have crawled from the shadows, disguising their bodies with too many joints and their mouths with too many teeth. By day they play at being human.   But by night, they are the fanged flesh-eaters, Smiles.
