Illithor Glacier
General Description
The biggest problem Illithor had was that throughout the kingdom, there was a feeling of resenment growing for him, from the nobles to the farm hands. They hated that their king had surrendered without a fight. Unaware that Illiathors father, Eriladar Glacier, gave his life in the peace treaty to ensure the Snow Elf people were not harmed in the reprisals that other races had endured after refusing the first duel finally surrendering to the Island Elves onslaught.
He was a king who spent his reign trying to help people. He poured thousands of gold into rebuilding the former Athlassan region. He personally brought thousands of coins worth of food, to be donated to the Humans of the south, his refugees. He is commonly known as the First King of the Snow Elves. A term meant to be an insult, as all the glaciers has originally been titled High Kings. He was forced to revoke that title in front of Thenerious, before he could claim the crown.
But he was unpopular, seen as a weak king now, many elves couldn't believe they had surrendered without much of a fight. So unpopular that he would be the first victim of the Peoples Wills. They had wanted to firstly punish the Glacier family for their weakness in surrendering to the Island Elves. They also aimed to throw off the yoke of oppression, their aim to drive the Island Elves from Heleg Parath.
Death
The Kings death was the first major success of the Peoples Will. He had been a sorting hub in Ostirion, this hub was sorting donations, before having wagons take them to the war torn southern kingdoms. Illithor had been helping a Human family that had recently arrived when there was a loud scream as an arrow was sent flying into the heart of the king, who refused to wear armour when he was helping his people. His kings guard, were not next to him as Illaithor had ordered them to be useful and help instead of following him around. The culprits left a bloody red hand on the kings face before fleeing. Although no one knew yet, this was the first act of The Peoples Will.
