Esterion

Region Description

The Esterion region is the further south region and the only proper land border the Snow Elves have with another nation. With the Tauri Launda forest acting as a border between them and the Wood Elves.

Although still part of the frozen north, this region has the least amount of snow and frozen hills. It has the trees and biomes more akin to Leralethron, which is why many are confused as to why it was just gifted to the Humans after the conquest of Thenerious.

Ruling Family

The Vieras family, are the current High Lords who have been elected.

The Humans, fed up of the constant conflict, decided they would have no ruling family. Instead they would elect a family to rule them. They would elect a High Lord every eight years. Halfway through the term of the High Lord, they would elect someone to take the Othranar seat on the kings council. This meant that no matter what the Othranar had leadership. It also allowed them to balance out the power of the elected High Lord.
