Culverin

General Description

The Culverin family are loyal servants who rule a land knowing they hold no claim over it. Despite that, the Culverin family have built a reputation on being honest and trustworthy. They have even earnt the trust of the other High Lords to often be the arbiter in disputes directly between two High Lords.

They came to Helmi Tielte after the destruction of their kingdom below the Sidhe forest, no records indicate what happened, however during the 120th decade, of the first era. They and their subjects were forced to flee north. This was after the land became more and more toxic, eventually the very air was infecting the Snow Elves and so their king led them north to join the Glaciers, where he bent the knee.

Banner:

A Blackwood Spruce Tree, with deep green leaves. On a white background. They chose this symbol because the Spruce tree supports life in the majority of forests, even though it is not the dominant tree.

Early History

The Maelstrom

Stewards in Exile:

Following the death of Ulondil Culverin during the Maelstrom, the Culverin were removed as stewards and High Lords of Helmi Tielte. There was a succession of lords that would fulfil the roles, every time, the role was split. It wasn't until High King Aeran Glacier II that the Culverin were restored as High Lords and stewards

The Culverin lost their titles but, but they also lost control of Lacare.
