This is the continent on the world of Terravita where Dahak was slain in 0 PD, ending the time known as the Destruction. This continent is the home of the nations Gallenia, Kiyoshi, and Varesja among others.
The four most populous countries make up 50% of the population. Could follow the Zipf Mystery for this.

The primary stage for the The Great Game, also called The Game of Houses.
The continent is approaching the maximum population it can support (~400M) with current technologies. Figure out how big that would be. Some people are worried since at the current rate of population growth, this limit will be reached in the next couple centuries.
Some people might have heirlooms from the Destruction and from what might be called the Age of Legends, the years after the Destruction when great warriors fought to exterminate the lingering threat of demons and dragons from Londe. Iures, the Black Blade wielded by Marcoth Ensarin, is one such artifact.
Culture before Destruction was made of of many smaller countries, often at war with each other. After the Destruction, only 2-3 major human ethnic groups could be said to exist and nearly all other cultural identity has been burned away such as separate languages.
