Kaius: The scribe
Prince Kaius Ashtone
A boy of quite reknown throughout the Cathedral library. A boy of such exemplary stature whose glyphagy has excelled even beyond that of the upper recorders.
A boy of fire and mystery, whose very hands move the heat of the air and breathes confusion and disorder into the hearts of men.
He is a soft chaos in the whispering stacks of the Library.

There is a burn that scarred his left hand from the fire that ate his home.
Special abilities
Although he knows of the way that heat and flames are his to command he stays his hand. Although the flames will bow to his will he shies away from it. Although he does not need a glyph to summon such a force and bends his mind from it.

Personal history
Growing up within Aurellius' Villa he learned the book of Glyphs, and the ways of counting, and speaking and reading. He was more intelligent than his father seemed to know and blew through his studies, finding that his mind was a curious one. One that would ask questions that should have been far above the understanding of six and eight year old boys.
Once he had learned his father would summon a new tutor. Although not allowed to leave the walls of the Villa he reveled in the knowledge that was brought to him and soon he would lose himself in his teachings.
At the age of 11 the fire engulfed the Villa and the Kingsguard had taken his father. Knowing this Aurellius had him escorted before the ransacking of his home and was brought to the Cathedral Library, the Domain of the Keeper outside of the bounds of Lyare to study more and advance his education.

He had proper training via tutors who would visit his villa.

Accomplishments & Achievements
At a young age he had mastered the basics of Glyphagy and was already beginning to develop his own sigils and runes.

His body is clumsy due to his wandering mind. He nevers sees the things in front of him and it tends to cause accidents around him.

When presented with wild open flame his mind will flash to the fire of the Villa. His fear is fire and it's flames always frighten him.

He is a staunch beleiver in the Keeper and his duties. Being indocternated into the Cathedral Library he took to being a scribe well and began copying the ledgers and histories of the world with such a ferocity that it scares some of the most dedicated Librarians themselves.

His eyes reflected back to him were deep maroon. Almost the crimson of blood seeped in shadows, and within the depths of red were flecks of gold that shimmered when he turned his head.

His hair was dark and red, almost matching his eyes, but deeper closer to black. Mid length and sweeping his shoulders, the unkepmt hair was knotted and rustled from days not tended to.
