Talista is the patron of retaliation and reprisal. Those who walk the Tyr, God of Law and Justice path of vengeance may be offered her blessing and her boon.. that comes at a price.

The Legend of Talista

Originally, Talista, then known as Justila served her father Tyr along side her twin brother, Themis; acting as the sword and scale for their father. But a scheme carried out by The Condemned Gods of Terrania resulted in the death of her dear brother. With Tyr's messenger and scale gone, he had to focus his energy maintaining order and justice. Justila begged her father to carry out retribution, and remove the taint of the condemned gods; Malar and Baal; who were responsible for Themis's death. But Tyr would not relent, insisting their attention must be absolute in ensuring order was maintained; retribution was a distraction. Yet, Justila's vengence could not be quashed, and she left her father's side in search of retribution. She journeyed through Malar's realm, pursuing the elusive evil deity. She eventually caught up to him at the Great Blood Shrine where the two battled at great expense to both. The wounded Malar fled, but due to the severity of Justila's wounds she could not pursue. She begun to be corrupted by Malar's domain through the wounds, and was close to death. But, Shar, Goddess of Darkness and Loss whisked her away from the domain and saved her. Knowing the corruption was deep, Shar knew Justila could not return to her father's side, therefore, she offered Justila a new place, within Shar's realm, which would allow Justila to continue carrying out her retribution. Thus, Justila was reborn as Talista, The Nemesis Justicar.
Tyr, now without his sword and scale, become overwhelmed by the undertaking of ensuring order and justice throughout our world. Therefore, he split himself in two; Blind Tyr and Focused Tyr.
