Divine Compass

The Divine Compass is a living Biocybernetic Metamaterial born out of a Plinth of Aya. It's bound to a designated emissary, guiding his way to the Temple spire of divinity, as well as recording information in its vicinity. It also increases the health of its host and may have saved many infant lives.
In its dormant form, it can be inherited by a male offspring and might activate under the right conditions.
In the religion of the divine Goddess Aya, it's considered a holy artifact, and whoever carries it is blessed by her.
A Divine Compass grafts itself to its holder and dies with him or if removed. To transfer it, it needs to be held continuously to the skin of a genetically compatible host; it can also be moved like this on the same host
