Goldsmith Guild
Overview
The Goldsmith can assess and appraise the value of any gold in an item. They specialise in Gold, and the best can even identify where gold has been mined from (Cumulative 5% per year in the business +15% for Dwarven Goldsmiths).Goldsmith Products
Smithing Service
Normally a Goldsmith will smith gold into any given jewellery form requested. The Goldsmith will expect the raw gold to be provided for the making of the item(s) and will smelt and engrave the objects as a part of the service. The value of the Services are 10% of the value of the gold in the item/object, and takes 1 week per 250gp worth of gold used.Pre-made items
Few pre-made items are kept in stock - the danger is too great. Each is valued at 1D100 gp multiplied by 1d20 at any given time.Gold Rings

Structure
Standard Guild structure, however those seeking to start in this guild must pass several Detect Lie interrogations to ensure that they are not in any way associated with Rogues or Thieves.
Culture
The Goldsmiths are a minor group within the Jewelcrafter Guild. They are also strongly linked to the Metallurgy Guild and work in tandem with that Guild in all areas and towns except the Capital Cities where the two guilds maintain separate guildhalls.
Public Agenda
The Goldsmiths keep a low profile, they act simply as careful jewelers and often pay protection money to the local Thieves Guilds as added protection.
Assets
The Guild has a full compliment of Alchemy Labs throughout the Atlantean Continent and these are partially stocked with smelting and weighing and assessing gear. In the Capital Cities the Alchemy labs are however full Alchemy labs.
