Kaiser Ottokar von Fürstenmold III

Kaiser Ottokar Neidhard Bernhardt Muff von Fürstenmold (a.k.a. Junge-Kaiser)

Kaiser Ottokar Neidhard Bernhardt Muff von Fürstenmold the Third is the current monarch of Yytuskia, having started his reign at the age of 20 after his father and his mother, Kaiser Wilhelm von Fürstenmold the Second and Kaiserin Helmina von Fürstenmold respectively, both died in late 2021 CE. In his eight-year reign as the constitutional monarch of the nation, Ottokar saw the attempted assassination of Premierfuhrer Alekzander Overnotch, an almost crippling economic depression, an attempted civil war, two attempted assassinations on himself, a kidnapping on himself by the Rotfuchsorganisation (RFO) wherein he was promptly released, and a short four year war between Yytuskia and the Talion Union.   Ottokar took the throne at age twenty, due to his parents - the former Kaiser and his wife - death in late 2021 CE. His younger sister, Athenia von Fürstenmold, while technically in line for the throne after Ottokar, has publicly announced that she has no plans to try and take the throne. This has left Ottokar with a somewhat free reign over the country, even with his lack of powers due to the constitution. This doesn't mean that he chooses not to partake in political issues, as he is known to sit-in on political party meetings from all sides, weighing in on issues he sees needs fixing.   Called the "Junge-Kaiser" since his inauguration, Ottokar has spent much of his time on the throne trying to prove himself to the government and the people he serves. Strangely, as compared to other Kaisers of the past, Ottokar has no military experience, having been exempted from compulsory service due to a heart issue. Ottokar also has the tendency to spend more time in public with his subjects than previous members of the royal family.

Early Life

Eldest son to Kaiser Wilhelm von Fürstenmold II and his wife, Kaiserin Helmina, Ottokar was born January 17th, 2002 CE in the Muhlstadt Royal Hospital, at 1:34 a.m. in the cold, cold January winter. Frail and weak at birth, Ottokar would spend a full three months at the hospital, until doctors deemed him healthy enough to be allowed to join his mother, father, and elder sister Athenia at the royal palace. For the next five years, young Ottokar was in the eyes of the Yytuskian media, sensationalizing every little sighting of him and his sister whenever they and the Royal Family left the confines of the royal palace, the Westlicher Eisenpalast. Ottokar, once in an interview in 2025, said that the bright lights and crowds of people clamoring to see him in those earlier years were one of the biggest factors in the growth of his claustrophobia and dislike of large crowds.   At age six, the young prince was admitted to the Königliche Jugendakademie, the premier private academy for upper-class youths in the Muhlstadt area. According to official documentation, the young Prince Ottokar was an average student and only made a few friends in his time in primary education. One of his teachers, Rielly Monroe, noted that while the young Ottokar was somewhat average in maths, language, and physical education, he was heavily interested in the fine arts. Monroe tried to push the boy towards honing his craft from a younger age, bringing this to the attention of the Headmistress but he was rebuked and fired quietly.   When Ottokar was twelve-years-old,
