Ravakar, the Despoiler of Hope
Origin:
Ravakar manifested in the Primordial Abyss as a shadow birthed from unfulfilled potential. He was not shaped by hate, but by the absence of love—by all things lost, abandoned, or forgotten. His birth came with the first prayer that went unanswered, the first cry for help that fell into silence. Ravakar was not made; he was left behind.
Before the War:
In the early stirrings of creation, Ravakar walked unseen through the folds of reality. Where others brought pain through violence or affliction, he worked in silence, whispering doubt into the hearts of mortals and immortals alike. His power grew in quiet places: dying cities, fading civilizations, and abandoned temples where hope once burned bright.
During the Great War:
Ravakar’s role in the Great War was not through conquest or brute force but through corrosion. He shattered alliances from within, feeding paranoia and planting despair in once-unshakable hearts. Warriors laid down their arms, gods questioned their purpose, and even Demons fell into madness under his influence. He did not lead armies—he made them collapse.
After the War:
When the world lay in ruin, Ravakar thrived. His influence lingers long after blood has dried. Survivors of the War speak in hushed tones of a figure glimpsed in times of great doubt, watching from the horizon as they crumble inside. His domain is a reflection of this aftermath: a pale expanse of dust and ruin, where nothing grows and nothing dares to hope.
