Chapter 4: The Road to Mistral

Shot Down

General Summary

The crashing of the Celaeno was devastating to the health of the people on board, as they are flung from the deck landing on the hard land below. Old Peculiar seems to be getting sicker and even normal healing magic has no effect. Being only a few miles from peculiars home, the group decides it best to walk him there, while also keeping an eye out for what shot them down. Soon they see the floating spires of Mistral City, a beautiful metropolis with floating islands holding large towers that are connected by carved wooden bridges. However, the beauty turns to ash, as upon arriving at the address all they find are the smoldering remains of his home. Wanting to shield Old peculiar from any more despair they take him to Lysander's place to rest and hopefully heal. While he rests, the group turns their eyes to the upper city with hopes of exploration, but those dreams are soon axed as they learn that only The Skylords are permitted.
