12: Imilios Nocturne
Imilios Nocturne is the 12th Imilios.
Nocturne is one of the most active gods in Terra Novella, choosing a form for herself and regularly showing up in the deep caverns of the underdark. She finds enjoyment in subjugating the various peoples of her world, the Underdark.
As lord of the Underdark, she holds dominon over all the species from the Underdark. Drow, Deep Gnomes, and Deep Dwarves are all subjugated equally under her tyrannical rule.
As the youngest Imilios, it is postulated that because of her age, she was granted a level of self-expression that was unlike previous Imilios. This has been theorized to be a result of the entropic nature of the universe, with the force of personality growing as the imilios came to be.
Nevertheless, Nocturne is an active diety on her homeworld, and frequently attempts to involve herself in mortal affairs. She knows she cannot disrupt the balance of the universe, but she tries anyway.
She is well known for her faustian bargains, often giving small portions of her power for undying servitude. She has made a habit of turning those who rebel against her deals into spiders, driders, corvids, or devils.
She interacts with Imilios Grixis frequently. It is said that if she is not on the Underdark, she can be found on the surface of the abyss, making deals with poor souls. As the patron saint of devils, she fuels the evergoing feud between demons and devils by populating the highest level of the abyss with devils, usually those who fall short on their deals with her.
