This world is not so much unlike our own, though it does contain magic, monsters, and bizarre technology. It is a world divided, with many lines in the sand drawn between nations and ideologies. War is common, and one is brewing that could engulf the entire world in catastrophic conflict.   As though that weren't bad enough, this world is also plagued by monsters. Ancient fiends who feed on human flesh have appeared before, and could very well appear again. Along with that, humanity is beset by an intriguing darkness, taking the form of an organization bent on creating Hell on earth.   In the wake of potential death and destruction, there are those who would stand against it. Heroes exist, and will gladly stand against the tides of evil, but they may not be enough. The forces of good have not always prevailed, and have no guarantee of doing so in the future.   God may have created the heavens and the earth, but this is not the earth he created.
