Multi-levels of shops and high-class apartments form the walls alongside a channeled river that flows along the bottom of the cavern. During active hours, the brightly colored lanterns above send their glow into the street below and the hubbub of people milling about and the noise from the shopkeeps peddling their wares fills the air between the buildings. Beneath it all, but mostly heard during the inactive hours, there is the constant white noise of the bubbling and splashing of the river. Smells of different foods, fabrics, metals and other materials waft from the respective shops that sell them.

Notable Inhabitants:

Shopkeeps and masters of crafts, as well as the “lower” of the high classes. Those who don’t own mansions or land, but are wealthy in their own right.

What is there?

High quality shops and markets, mostly of products found/made at this level, though imported goods from the levels above are also sold here.

Main Attraction:

The highest prized items sold here are magically enchanted ones. The cheapest of those are likely made by the students from the Universities, or of apprentices, while the highest quality items are made by masters of the craft.
