Magicast Daily News: Heroes of the Deepwatch Rise!

Our recent disaster level emergency within the Underdark shook our city to the core as for many of our younger citizens, such an event has not happened to Runevale within their lifetimes. But for us older folks, we may remember the Blizzard of 3498. But as ever, Runevale can always count on their brave heroes to defend her and her citizens.
The Deepwatch released their statement of a disaster level incursion with the Abyss within a few miles below the city in the Underdark. A powerful creature attempted to gain entry into our plane nad ursurp the minds of our soldiers and our people.
But the Deepwatch was able to quickly assemble a power battalion of soldiers as well as associated Adventurers to face the threat. Command of the operation was spearheaded by Captain Myr Jafar, decorated officer of the Deepwatch from House Jafar. Field command was given to First LIeutenant Baltana Baenrae, of House Baenrae. 
With expert strategy, tactics, and combat experience, the Deepwatch were able to contain the outbreak of the incursion, rescue potential travellers and survivors, eliminate all threats, and send this abyssal creature packing to whatever cave it slithered out from!
With the reward, Myr Jafar has been promoted to Major, and will now assume  command of the Deepwatch Special Operations, replacing former Major Eric Morozar who passed away a few years ago.
Replacing Major Jafar's role will be the newly promoted Captain Baltana Baenrae, overseeing squad missions and operations.
