Hespori Moss

Overview:

Hespori Moss is an infectious fungi that forms in the depths of the ocean every few decades. This moss will attach itself to anyone that touches it and slowly numb there mind until the host becomes a mindless zombie. If left unchecked, Hespori Moss will spread extremly quickly and has been known to cover large sections of the ocean in its red tint within days. For centuries, selkies have prevented the Hespori Moss from spreading to the surface.
To stop Hespori Moss, it must be destroyed at its root. The Hespori Moss' root is a large mass of hardened wood with limbs, thorns, and a layer of this seaweed. It is semi-consious, leaks acid and is highly aggressive to anthing attempting to harm it. The Root will also grow large flower pods near it that help gather nutrients. Upon destroying the Hespori's root, all the red moss spreading from it will immediately begin turning grey and die.
