West Malagar

The western half of the sundered continent of Malagar, West Malagar is dominated by the Vermos Kingdoms, a confederation of four dominions that forged an uneasy peace in the face of invasion. In its center lies Lake Scyse, the largest body of freshwater on Terra Argos, effectively bisecting the continent. To the west lie the Anvil Peaks and the kingdom of Lanavess, with its capital city of Hammerfall. To the east are the rolling farm plains of Gwynd, the birthplace of Lord Vermos, now criss-crossed with the King's Roads, connecting the four capitals of the Vermos Kingdoms. In the north lie the blasted, frozen wastes of the Kern Imperium, with its rich mines in the Azophel Mountains, and the flourishing coastal cities of Sovost, including Palas, the Tradehold of the West.   In the South of West Malagar lies the cursed peninsula of Rail's Hand, a dreaded land overrun with abominations, kept contained by the Gate of Rail, a massive structure of stone and iron constantly manned by the vigilant Knights of Gwynd.
