Terminus (Train World)

Six countries surround the unexplored central area. This area is a vast expanse that, despite the whole world's best efforts, has only lightly been explored throughout the years. Subsequently, not much is known about the central area. However, what is known is that it's ruled by the calamities - creatures that have hounded humanity throughout their existence and linked to multiple calamitous events throughout history. However there is one advantage human's have; these calamities are enclosed within the central area, though why isn't fully known, which has allowed humanity to thrive on the raised areas of land surrounding the central area.   The main focus is Terminus, to the west of the central area, which is primarily a technological power house that has a highly developed Train system, used to connect the key cities of the area that were once independent but - due to rising concerns during the war with the at the time expansive country to the south, allied with one another to form an equivalent power and allowing them to stand on the world stage.
