The Damp One

The Lizardfolk of the marshes near the river south of Raven's Rock keep are more spiritually minded than most of their kind. This is evidently due to a close encounter with a celestial (or fiendish or, on second thought, possibly fey) being that taught them how to grow and harvest seed grasses and to weave them into everything from textiles and baskets to full-blown habitations. These are quire flammable when dry, but nearly impervious to fire when kept damp.   The tribe spiritualist keeps a small effigy of the being wet on a woven grass altar, but the actual being is at least human-sized, if not even much larger, tree sized perhaps. While the idea of a lizardfolk god made of wet grass seems ridiculous on its face, the reality is more than a little unnerving,
