NPCs of Interest in the Caves of Chaos

  • Blotazark: Goblin Boss.
  • Neelavaz: No, I'm the Goblin Boss.
  • Zebitar: Shut up Neelavaz, everyone knows I'm the Goblin Boss.
  • Mondigor: Goblin Shaman. Don't make me stab you, Zebitar.
  • Gobotron: Goblin Entrepreneur, owner of PACS (Post-Adventurer Cleaning Services). Works hard every day and is tired of hearing a bunch of whining around here.

  • Keemak: Kobold (Yeeha)
  • Miinga: Kobold (Yeeha)
  • Vaakla: Kobold (Yeeha)
  • Oobint: Kobold (Yeeha)
  • Baalma: Kobold (Yeeha)

  • Jozzagan: Orc [deceased]
  • Tarlaj: Orc [deceased]
  • Burngulg: Orc [deceased]
  • Axefarl: Orc [deceased]
  • Gorebell: Orc [deceased]
  • Malbyish: Orc Warlord of the Dark Wardens [deceased]. Disincorporated into a cloud of bats and consumed/absorbed by the Bat-demon Camazotl.
  • Voshagul: Orc Shaman and de-facto leader of the remnants of the Dark Wardens.

Korbozag, son of Ozag: Ogre mercenary lairing up in a cave adjacent to the goblins. Will fight on their side if they toss him a bag of coins. Will turn a visitor into a splat if they touch his bags of coins.   Drinfajar: Colloquial name given to the minotaur (construct?) found in the heart of the labyrinth in the Caves of Chaos. Unknown if this is its given name or just a weird word that the Orcs have (had) for it.   Ophidra ('snake-maker', 'snake-mother')or Ophelia (literally, 'helper'; but moving the prefix, can also mean 'little snake girl' or 'snake-lover'): A deadly combination of Yuan-ti Malison and Medusa, she was found in a wastewater cistern in the Caves of Chaos and evidently was the high priestess of the Yuan-ti temple for some time, but fell into a torpor some 300 years ago along with the Yuan-ti gods whom she served. Naphan Agrippa's relentless meddling with the Anchored Fang of Dendar reawakened her, but in her sluggish state she was neutralized by giant bat skeletons immune to her petrification powers, and tossed in the pit to be safely out of the way so his meddling could continue. Freed by the adventurers, she has taken steps to restore the temple and create a handful of protectors for herself, but has been - for a type 3 malison medusa - remarkably cordial and even helpful to the party. Perhaps this is because one of the gang is herself a Yuan Ti, or because for the moment their goals are aligned. Either way she seems to make a much better ally then foe, for now.
