Hoardhold
Hoardhold is Drakmort's primary financial and political district, located North of Dragon Square. As such, the district is regarded as particularly lavish, with the wealth of the city's upper class on full display in its architecture and public artwork.
Notable Locations
- The First Bank of Drakmort is the city's largest financial instutution, overseen by the senior members of the Drakmort Treasurers' Guild. Because its high concentration of wealth makes it a fairly large target, the guild employs a wide variety of security measures, both magical and mundane, to deter unwanted visitors.
- The Fairweather Museum of Antiquity is a museum personally owned and funded by Corduroy Fairweather, the gnomish head of the Drakmort Merchants' Guild. The museum boasts an impressive assortment of treasures and artifacts amassed from the surrounding desert, many of which date back to the days of the Pre-Vancian Era.
- The Brass Palace is an ornate, stately building and the lair of Tanin D'or, the city of Drakmort's dragon ruler. Because of his reclusive tendencies, Tanin D'or is rarely, if ever, seen outside the palace grounds (and even then, almost never in his true draconic form). Disputing Guildmasters are known to occasionally travel to the palace to have their conflicts resolved, as Tanin D'or serves as the final arbiter of all inter-guild disputes.
