Crawford Yard

Crawford Yard is the Westernmost district within the inner walls of Drakmort; it is known primarily as a legal district, housing the headquarters of the city watch as well as the city's largest courthouse.

Notable Locations

• The Watchtower is the main headquarters of the Drakmort Watchmen's Guild, so named for the large tower that comprises its main body. In the earliest days of the city, the tower was constructed as a means to spot approaching bandits and other threats from a distance; in the present day, the sheer size of the city and its surrounding walls make the tower largely irrelevant, serving mainly as a symbolic structure.
• The Drakmort Court of Law is the largest courthouse in the city, where many of Drakmort's major legal disputes take place. The building is a fairly new addition to the city, which was lobbied by the previous commander of the Watchmen's Guild on the argument that any individual arrested within the city should be entitled to a fair trial, regardless of status or the severity of the crime they are accused to have committed.
