Homebrew Feats

Call the Warning

Prerequisite: Wisdom 13
Uses: Proficiency bonus per long rest

You have honed your awareness of danger and your voice into a tool of life-saving precision. With a sharp command or cry, you can jolt an ally into motion just in time.

When an enemy creature declares an attack, casts a spell, or otherwise initiates a harmful action targeting an ally you can see and who can hear you, you may use your reaction to call a warning.

That ally may immediately move up to 10 feet in any direction. This movement happens before the triggering effect is resolved.

Any effects that depend on positioning—including cover, line of sight, range, and advantage or disadvantage—are calculated after the movement is complete, and before the attack is resolved.

This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks. If the triggering action is an area of effect, the enemy cannot change their target.

You may use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.

Unyielding Instinct

Prerequisite: Dexterity 15

You have honed your reflexes to a supernatural degree, responding to openings in combat with unmatched speed and awareness.

You may make a number of opportunity attacks each round equal to your Dexterity modifier (minimum of one). These attacks still consume your reaction as normal, but you may take additional opportunity attacks beyond the first by sacrificing some of your movement on your next turn.

For each additional opportunity attack beyond the first in a single round, reduce your walking speed by 10 feet on your next turn. This reduction resets at the end of that turn.

You must still meet all the usual conditions for making an opportunity attack.

Opportunistic Casting

Prerequisite: Bard level 4 or higher
Uses: Proficiency bonus per long rest

Your instinct for exploiting magical openings is unmatched, allowing you to follow up a foe’s (or ally's) misstep with swift arcane punis...entertainment.

When a creature within 30 feet of you fails a saving throw, you may use your reaction to cast a cantrip that targets that creature.

The cantrip must have a casting time of 1 action, and the creature must be a valid target under the spell’s normal conditions. All other casting requirements still apply.

You may use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.
