Tek Rafts

Magic hovercraft, basically. Large, slow, but stable because it floats, and can transport heavy/unstable materials safely and easily. Used as carts, pulled by bullock animals.
The Tek Raft later became the basis of ships that could traverse the oceans "safely", leading to first coastal settlements.
